Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting daily safety inspections and identifying unsafe conditions & acts.
• Support implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and site safety rules.
• Participate in hazard identification & risk assessment (HIRA/JSA) activities.
• Help maintain statutory registers, permits, and safety documentation.
• Assist in conducting safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Support incident / near-miss reporting and investigation.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and promote safe working behavior on site.
• Assist in fire safety, emergency preparedness, and mock drills.
• Coordinate with supervisors and contractors to ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain records related to training, inspections, and audits.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of Industrial Safety & Environment regulations
• Understanding of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards (preferred)
• Good communication and observation skills
• Willingness to work on-site and learn practical safety operations
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, reporting)

• Diploma / Degree in:
  • Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety
  • Environmental Engineering / Science
  • Occupational Health & Safety
• Certifications like NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA – Added advantage
